This is my third class in this subject, with the way things go here I’m amazed it wasn’t my first. I have always been capable of reading code with out any clue of what it says and some what getting what it says. For example I use to hack my games, still try to but point is I really don’t know what it all means but some times its subconscious. So with that said Id like to say my basic perception of java, html and CSS is that there a complex mesh of code that makes very little sense but still gain my respect for being something easy to do and hard to grasp.
I have always enjoyed the web and what can be done with it. I figure with these three tools in web design any thing can be done. There is a level of satisfaction that comes with this information, that’s the feeling of “I can do what few can”. With the exception of the hell hole known as myspace witch is deprecated and runs of a pile of trash code. Moving past the popular trash Id like to say I’m looking forward to what ever this class has in store for me and my fellow peers.

I agree with with you on Java, HTML and CSS is very complex. It helps a lot learning how to put them in their own layers so that they are easier to work with. I do think that this is just the start of coding. It will continue to grow and hopefully we will grow with it.
The web is definitely going places. I like what you said about taking this class not only because it is required but also because you enjoy learning about the subject. Javascript is definitely going to be interesting. I don't know much about myspace but ill have to check it out.
I have to agree with you on some points. Even though a good deal of the code is very complex, they do a fair job of making it somewhat intuitive to most people. Even CSS is pretty basic once you understand the structure. Same thing with HTML and most Java I've encountered.
And YOWZA, I know what you mean about Myspace. It's kind of it's own animal. I got very complex in designing and coding my page and creating my own images, and let me tell you, it was a pain. It takes the rules you know and over rides them, pretty much hucking it out the window to make it work with it's preset system. Sometimes it still does wonky things from day to day.
